Well Friday might not have been the end of the world but it was or my 206. at six in the morning I was driving to work and came round a blind bend and straight into a massive flood, the car stalled. I tried to restart but engine wouldn't turn over so was obviously full of water. I got out in the freezing cold water up to my knees and pulled part of the air take trunking off and it was of water. The car then proceeded to slowly bob into the middle of the road.

The AA turned up and towed me to my dads. Initially it didn't look too bad, I pulled out the glow plugs spun the engine and got all the water out. However with it all back together it was missing on one, with unburnt diesel clouding out the exhaust.

So sadly after fives years in the family, with me owning it in the last two years and 210,000 on the clock I drove it to the local scrappies and got £200 for it Sad

I have a load of Peugeot parts in the garage I'll be clearing out, stereo surround, winter tyres, shocks, etc

How deep was the water then as you say it bobed into the middle of the water, makes it sound like it was floating Smile

I went through a 3ft deep ford two weeks ago, but thankfully only 12mph - caused some serious issues in my pants and on my seat!
