Hey guys, what would be your opinion on engine flushes to remove harmful deposits and stuff? Shall I just change the filter and oil and forget the flush or what? Thanks

Can do more harm than good. Shouldnt be necessary anyway on a car that has regular oil changes.
If you must flush it then just use a cheap oil for a couple of miles.

As above it shouldn't be required, i only use it on cars that have had headgasket failure to make sure all remains of gunk are removed. Get it nice and warm then remove sump bung and leave for 5 mins.

well i don't think the engine flush is a good thing to be done, sometimes it can be harmful for engines with a high mileage,so just use a good quality oil,and oil filter, and it's good to add oil additive.

iv always thought if you use it every oil change from virtually new its ideal but if using on a high mileage engine thats not had it before will just loosen loads of rubbish!
if you do use it only let it tick over till warm and then drain dont rev or drive it because it thins the oil out and could cause damage!
