Alright guys,
Could anybody give me some tips on how to get rid of these marks that de-badging has left? I'm pretty sure its not the paint having peeled off with the badge or anything, there's no texture to the marks, its just sort of like a stain. My dad thinks T-Cut would work but I know a lot of people don't like to use T-Cut, and neither do I if I don't have to so don't wanna try it on this in case it damages the paint :/

why not just use t-cut? any reason why you dont want to?

I will if people say it works, just I've heard of people having it strip the paint and stuff haha.

it will only strip the paint if there isnt enough clearcoat on the car which i asume there should be more than enough

t cuts fine. do a large area otherwise it dont look right when you do a small section. some kid scratched a smilie face onto my bonnet

Lookin at it it might be passed the t cut stage...there's a stage ring where its rubbed deeper and it looks rough as dogs...i hope it worx...fill us in on the t cut application tho....

I hope not! Like I said I can't feel any bump or anything where the mark is :/ but it is a ten year old car so it could well be damaged from being on there so long!

I havn't had the chance to do it yet, will do it tomorrow night if I get the time, I'll put a picture in here to show the results if its light enough to take a picture haha

Haha I was like that for a while, I think it's probably made worse because my cars black though, so the marks really stand out because they're a light colour!
Also, use fishing line to get the badges off, just saw behind then with it, works a treat! An eraser to remove the adhesive that's left on the car works pretty well too!
