Could always try saxperance fourm? If it does fall thru

I think I will mate, the ones I'm bidding on are convenient because they're within 20 miles!
I definitely want them wheels now that I've looked at them on the car, even my dad agrees they look nice haha! So saxo wheels it is, and I don't think anyone on here has done it yet, but don't take my word on that Smile

Yeah, there are a couple of guys who have done saxo wheels on pugs before, but the VTR saxo ones look much nicer even in the 14"!

Also, the other thing you gotta be careful about is that insurance companies also dont like brake upgrades because you are tampering with the manufacturers parts, which were put on by the people who made the car, which also means its done right. And brakes are your only hope of stopping accidents completely, so if they go, then your screwed!

I just passed my test, im 17, I have a 1.1 206 lx and im fully Comp (No Box) for what sounds the same price you got yours for? Also, to answer an earlier question of yours 205 gti 1.9 wheels look amazing on them, My car is dark metalic blue and the wheels are red, but believe it or not, the wheels suit the car.

Good luck on your car mate and your doing a great job!

Thanks mate!

I can see why when its put like that, don't want some teenager fiddling with the brakes on his car haha!
Yeah the VTR wheels look really nice, I wasnt sure at first until I photoshopped the picture, now I'm determined to get myself some! Problem is my tyres are almost illegal, so I wanna get wheels and tyres before I have to buy new ones for the steel wheels I have on at the minute, would be auch a waste of money to buy tyres for a matter of weeks haha!

That's gutting, to be honest, I was at work when the car was bought and insured, although I had thought about the black box, my dad never called up any normal insurers for me, he just went off online quotes. I probably could have got a better deal if I'd pushed a normal insurance company, but sadly I wasn't there to do it! Sad
Next year I'm hoping it'll be 2000 or less fully comp without the box, all mods declared and no mileage limit. But I doubt it!

Thanks a lot for the reply mate, compliments about the car mean a lot, good luck with your car as well, the wheels sound interesting to say the least, but I like interesting cars haha, you got any pictures?

12/01/2013 - Tried to fit the front bumper again, this time with the help of a friend, got the car jacked up and TIMBER!

the car fell right off them, luckily we both got out of the way and there was no damage!
Sadly this attempt was unsuccessful again, the bolts by the wheel arch just spin and spin, so I got a hacksaw today to cut the bolts off, and it started bloody snowing!

Anyway, heres how far we got yesterday:

And a few pictures from the Cruise West Cumbria Cruise in Carlisle on the night! It was a good night and had a much bigger turn out than Id expected! Didn't see many 206s though, hopefully my car will be there next year!

So I've changed my mind on the lowering, although I've got some springs and rear shocks on the way I think I'm gonna get myself some cheap coilovers off of ebay and hope they're half decent haha! Hopefully have these in about 2 months, if I can wait that long!

15/01/2013 - A parcel arrived today! And I won an auction on the white Saxo wheels! Theyre getting picked up on Sunday, and will be getting some rubber a week or two after!

What could it be?..

Lowering springs! I think theyre in alright condition, although I'm no mechanic. Could be getting them fitted sooner than I thought because my MOT is coming up and I need something sorted out on my suspension anyway! Also hoping these

will be followed by coilovers pretty quickly!

Its a right pain in the a**e isnt it!
Yeah I'm gonna go at the bolts with the hacksaw on Saturday! Hopefully be able to get them off, if not i think I'm gonna have to cut the bumper around the bolt, then do the same with the new bumper, and fix it on somewhere else! :/

They sure are! Me and my mate s**t our pants when it fell! Haha!
But to be honest it was a bit stupid to do it using jacks rather than stands, although in definitely investing in a trolley jack or something of the sort, I saw a deal similar to that in halfords the other day, just a shame I have no money at the moment haha Smile

Cheers,

Paddy!
