the boot strip? covers the lights for number plate and the opening handle?
if so then yes and is very easy,
1. open boot
2. pull of inside boot casing (black plastic bit)
3. there is a bolt on either side of the mechanism in the middle you unscrew
4. there is little plastic clips on either side of boot strip just push them through, they may break but pennies to buy new ones.
5. take boot strip off and the light will stay on the boot and handle will flop about
there you go

No idea its not hard to do smaller sections of your car yourself just grab few cans from halfords, ive done boot strip before and full front bumper.
can be very time consuming tho.
