It's a Citroen c3 2002 1.4 with near enough same engine as my old 206
Now im sure this isn't a 206 problem but also sure it's same with most cars...
Here goes.... Long story short changed a snapped shock spring gearbox oils came out, probably more than half, everything sorted bought some gearbox oil think it was 75/80 or sumat like that couldn't get the gearbox screw out so read to use the breather. Did this with a 1l bottle been fine for about 4-5 days now all of a sudden there's clicking from gearbox area no noise when idling or clutch pressed in whilst stopped but when rolling. Not so loud when accelerating but more when took foot off power and sill In gear. It's not a very loud clicking but I can hear it andit wasn't there before whilst driving it somestimes goes quieter.
Any ideas?
Ps doesn't sound like the cv as the noise doesn't change when turning and have had a cv go on my 206 and this isnt that noise.
All hail the mighty cable tie were would we be without them?
