I'm sure I've had this problem before BUT, I can't remember how I sorted it. All my 206 is doing when you turn the key is clicking repeatedly and not even turning the engine. I've read that it could be the starter solenoid but maybe it just needs a bump start? It has sat on the drive for several months. I've recharged the battery and checked all the terminals and they're fine. Any guidance?

Checked the connections on the starter motor? Given it a wack with a hammer?

Could put a meter over the battery when you crank the engine to ensure the battery is operating under load OK. Just because a battery has been charged doesn't rule out that it's not at fault.
Process of elimination.

Having just had a similar problem I'd go for checking your battery and your main leads as others have said and (though I'm sure you've done this) check you haven't blown a fuse. Check fuse 7 under the bonnet first. My problem lay at the starter motor.
