Is the fan coming on as the temperature goes this high?
FWIW,, my RC requires a good high speed run followed by sitting in traffic to move from an otherwise steady 90'C (+/- maybe a needles width), and even then doesn't go very high...

Check the fan terminals, sounds like the high speed isnt kicking in at all.

Jesus that's high.
Take it back.
Owned 2, both of mine have sat under 90, slightly higher in the summer iirc.

It's the same fan, just the ECU changes the speed it runs at depending upon temp, it should kick into high speed at 93degrees if I remember rightly.

Hi ye I have a 140 gti and mine does the same thing only mine done it with the engine before and I have had a new engine put in due to other reasons but the temp still goes to just before the last red line before it starts cooling down I have to put heaters on when in traffic and it's not using water I did ask on this forum and got the same answer that these run hot but if u didn't know about this and your fan failed u would have no time to realise they was something wrong and it would probaly go bang surely Peugeot won't of made them like this I was thinking of changing thermostat but now I might have a look at this fan speed
