I have a 1.4 GLX, and the diff's gone, so replacing the whole box seems the easier option.

iv been offered a 2001 quicksilver gearbox. i havent been to look at it yet.

will it fit on my car? my gearbox is MA, and im not sure what this other one is, someone bought it for spares for his and doesnt seem to be bothered looking for me.

im just not sure if quicksilvers are different box's all together or what?.

Let me know guys! cheers

What year is your car as I believe there was a minor change to the input shaft (length) for the MA box after a certain year which is not backwards compatible with the older type.

Check first.

Buyer be ware. If he can't be bothered to look he probably knows it won't fit and just wants your cash!

For what it's worth, I believe '98 to '01 uses the same i/p shaft and is prior to the change for MA box.
Good luck.
