Hi All,

Basically i own a 206 GTi (138) 51 reg 2002

At the begining of the week i had an 'Anti Polution Fault' show up so decided to bok it in for a diognostics to see what was the cause. This was no loger showing the next day but instead replacd by the oil indicator showing empty - i checked the dipstick and the oil was okay.

I took it for the diognostics at a garage local to work only for them to say that they tried two different ones and neither worked but if i took it back Friday (today) they had one that would work from another of their garages...

anywya on the way for the diognostics today, oil level fine, no faults - then i came to some lights, stpped, went to go again and NOTHING! The car had cut out, initially i thought i'd stalled but the car now turns over but doesn't start

Any ideas out of curiosity? The car has gone for its diagnostics eventually but as i didnt get there 1st thing this morning they have to try get the machine again tomorrow or monday.

All replies appreciated Smile

PS: tried the fuel cut off and it isn't that

Wahoo!

It could be many things but start with checking all connections and wires for damage then another fault code reading.

It could be unrelated to the previous problem and if it isn't related my first thought would be crank sensor.
