Bonnet alarm works a treat used a hole that was for the old rubber bung for the bonnet witch isn't used due to me having pins, so just chopped the connecter off, solderd new wire on and wired up the switch it took around 10mins lol.

I won some nimrods off eBay in the week and picked them up today £80 with 4 tyres. 3with 5mm and 1thats looks new 2bh
The seller was refurbing them to put in his pug, but his engine blew so scrapped the car and left these in the shed, any ways they have been rubbed down and 1 has been painted so I just sampling what they will look like when all of them are painted.
Comments/advice please everyone.

Bolts should be fine. As long as you've got at least 5 or 6 full turns into the hub. Disc will be about 8mm at most thick over the hub, leaving at least 7 threads on your bolts.

nice one kris, ive been told these are from the older generation pugs i.e the ph1 gtis and 306s ect, but they fit and have 20mm poking thru the back and like you said including the disc i still should have more than enough threads.

I didn't even look at the bolt type in the picture Rolling On The Floor Laughing

Yes they are the older bolts, but fit every pug flat seated alloy

Good shout using them for track rather than nimrods. I'm just having a couple of sets of crappy wheels, once the brake dusts gets all over them you stop caring

They can do in loads of colours, but no where near the amount of variations like paint mixing.

With black you work up shade levels from white to black and then gloss level (normally matt, low, medium, high etc)

Really depends who you go to. You can't mix it so it depends on what powders they buy in. You could get them to buy some in especially but in reality they can only do largish orders. The amount needed for some wheels is so small it just isn't worth it for the rest to be sitting around as spare stock for years.

If you want that exact colour you could try and get a very dark anthracite or grey. It doesn't look quite black to me.

Best to go in with a picture and ask then they can compare it to a colour chart and give their advice.

It's the vahaxhall insignia like black/charcoal as the lads brother works for vahaxhall and tryed that colour and I really like it so want to get them all fine like that. Know of any good alloy sprayers then?
How easy its to keep on top of powder coated wheels compared to sprayed wheels?
