My rear wiper has decided it wants to wipe the pug on the boot rather then the window! Any ideas why it is doing this and how I can fix it? I've been told its the motor by a local dealer but seeing how much they cost are they just trying to take the p**s?
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Are you sure the wiper arm securing nut hasn't just come loose?

I dont think it is, I took the wiper arm off thinking this might have been the issue but nothing  you can hear the motor trying to work but its almost like its not got the umpfff to keep the wiper up on the glass/wipe the window
