Hello everybody. I'am new here and also a new owner of Peugeot 206. This is my first non German car:P I bought a used one Peugeot 206 XSI 1.6 from 2001. There is some quirks with it but in this topic I would like to ask for a help with one of them.
It seams like my car is missing neck from windscreen washer tank. I have a tank, I have a water in it but the opening to it is so deep that I would need some kind of fennel with pipe to fill it up. I've check some videos and everywhere I have seen that tank should have kind of a long neck, my obviously doesn't.
Is it possible to just attach a neck to existing tank or I will need to swap whole thing? I could probably try to get fennel with long neck but there is kind of a seal on the tank an I am not sure how should I open it... so I am not sure even if there is some kind of opening mechanism on neck or what..
I will add that this is my second car in my life and previous one didn't need any attention so I am not experienced in any way...
Thanks for any help.

The parts are £12.54 from Peugeot including the VAT for the filler neck & the cap.
The neck just clips in, its removable to allow easy access to change the headlamp bulbs on that side.

Welcome to the forum, and about the windscreen washer tank,it got a long neck which make it easy to fill it,but since yours have none, then you need to buy a neck from scrappy,or buy it new from the dealer, with it's blue cover, check my thread about cleaning the engine bay,and see what i'm talking about.
Cheers

Thanks guys:) SO I guess when I will clip it on, it should, somehow, open this valve in the tank to allow filling?
So I think tomorrow I will need to visit my local scrapyard:D
