At the risk of copying someone else or being copied myself I decided to spray my centre console in black, i've seen other consoles resprayed but none all in black.

I took me a couple of weeks to finish, working between the project and meticulously sanding and spraying to get a really even finish on all coats then polished with a light compound and cloth.
The small fins in the airvents where one of the longest to do, the paint just wouldn't take but eventually they came up well.

Im very pleased with the finish, photos were taken with the phone so it doesn't quite give the finish justice.

Comments Welcome Wink

Looks really nice that mate, I usually find shiny plastic looks a bit tacky but you've made a really good job of it! Nice one!

Looks good and a great finish.
Not a fan of shiny surfaces on the dash though because of the glare you can get off it when the sun hits it.

The base surface needs to be sanded and free from old polish and dirt before the first coat of primer.
If your gonna spray a centre console buy a cheap one and spray that, would be a shame to spray a 180 console.
