How are the roof spoilers fitted. Are they screwed or glued? Laquer and paint peeling off so wondering whether to remove it completely.

Some people screw them on, some people glue/Tiger Seal them on. Not sure how they're fitted from standard though.

Standard is bolted because genuine spoilers come with a fitting kit and a thread in the spoilers to bolt it, most people like to bolt it and tiger seal for extra support, I tiger sealed mine but not bolted. After market spoilers don't come with bolt holes so you'll have to glue/tiger seal them unless you can bolt it on somehow.

Can you tell by looking if bolted on, presumably there is caps over bolt holes?

Ok, well cheers for advice. Can't risk taking it off if left with bolt holes.

Open the boot and remove one of the black covers. You will see if it has been bolted on.

Oh, if the spoiler is bolted on then removed, yes you'll have holes left behind, but whilst it's on, you can't really tell whether or not it's bolted or glued tbh
