Hi all,

New here looking for help with a recently aquired 206, lovely clean car but it has a "niggle" that's beginning to worry me. The car is for a new driver so not really something I/they can live with.
It's a 2001 1600cc Roland Garros - Petrol.
Occasionaly (very) it starts and revs fine but most of the time only revs to about 2000 RPM with the engine management light on, fault read as throttle position sensor. Throttle position sensor and throttle body have been swapped to what I assume are working units with no effect.
I have however noticed, out of pure frustration, that if I start it with my foot flat to the floor it will rev and drive like a dream!
Hoping for good news from you clever people!

Many thanks in advance.
