Been to peugeot today who have told me the reason the anti pol light keeps coming on and the eml light is due to the glow plug relay. can any 1 tell mt the exact location and where is best to buy a new 1? if i can locate the correct relay then i can find the part number and search on line. the car is a 2005 206 hdi gti. also had a couple of split damaged turbo pipes and vac hoses. probably is the car runs very well at the moment. it should run very well if the pipes are replaced too.

Well sometimes when you have the anti pol. light on,and eml,if the fault was with the Pre heating relay ,then there is 2 possibility for the fault
1-The glow plugs are faulty,and need to be replaced.
So you can have them check very easily if you have an electrical background,if not,then this will make things harder,anyway,after checking the glow plugs which work as a heater to make the cylinder chamber hot and ready for burning the diesel,so if you wanna me to tell you how to check them,let me know.
The second possibility is the
2- Glow Plug relay itself, it's usually located on the Passenger side,behind the headlight,but not sure about that,if you PM me your car VIN,i will show you the exact location,and the part number.

i have bought1 and it sits behind the battery. the new part is an upgrade from the old one and looks a little different. £43.

Vicky, does your glow plug light come on each morning?
Mine never did, until a few weeks ago when it intermittantly came on twice during the week :/

It will only come on Wgeb the temperature is about -1 or below, and even then only for a short time.

My temp has been -8 this winter and it never once came on.
Must be a problem with the electrics
