Well i'd thought since i've been on the forums for a year I had better start off a progress blog Laughing

My car history has been full of french cars, 3 of them being Peugeot 106's, one of them being a Clio Embarassed

Well anyways, on to the 206!

It's a 1.4 HDI Fever DT
I'am the 3rd owner, one of them being a garage, the other being my mothers partner, whom I bought it off.
Got it with 60k miles on it, with almost full service history bar 1 which didnt get stamped in the book.

It had a few problems which is why I got it for 600 quid, but cant complain.
How the car came standard:

Decided to ditch the steelies and wack on some spare 306 gti-6 cyclones i had lying around, and to debadge it and give it a wash.

Thought this pic looked pretty cool Rolling Eyes

Anyways its not all good news with the car, as I had stated earlier there was some problems with the car when I got it.

For starters the crank pulley was shafted, the rubber middle had completely disintegrated, so was rattling, and wasn't charging the battery.

Next was that the injector seals and seats had gone, so sounded like a wet fart constantly.

Driving down to my garage to get it sorted, went into limp mode and started to misfire, yep the injector had had it due to the carbon build up around the connector, it snapped clean off.
Trip to Peugeot,
New injector
New leak off pipes
New crank pulley
New boost pipes and inlet seals
£350 pound bill later, and some manual labour car was fixed and running great.

Still need to source some new interior as the current one is disgusting, faded, stained you name it, it's probably on there.

What it's meant to look like:

And now:

Also there is something wrong with the bonnet, it looks like its been repaired, badly.. and warped.

Future plans:
Need a battery clamp
Battery Cover
Engine cover
Sport front bumper
Sport wings
Colour coded rub strips
Decat
3" exit backbox
FMIC
Remap
Lowered
Debadge front
NEW INTERIOR!!!

I take it you replaced all the injector seals?! Not just one and cleaned all the carbon away? (ie ground down where the injector sat in the cylinder head for a good seal?)

Well, some more news.

Car failed its MOT on stupid things yet again.
N/S Droplink has had it. Already got 2 new ones to go on.
N/S Headlight was aiming too low
O/S rear brake line has corrosion.
Rear Fog wasnt working, although when I picked it up I checked and was working fine, so could be a dirty contact.FIXED
Battery was insecure, (lost the battery clamp that goes on top of the battery, aswell as the battery cover lid.
Load sensing valve has seized.
Handbrake doesn't work at all really, only got 8% braking efficiency of the parking brake.
Center seat belt locking mechanism doesnt lock or release, which it did when I picked the car up. FIXED
Front registration plate deteriorated. FIXED
Engine Oil leak.

And to top it off, one of the injectors has started chuffing again -_-
