Fibre glass bonnet is on the card eventually but more important things first like seats lol
Been at it again removed carpet and roof lining with some underlay stoll the main part in the fiotwells to go new total removed is 108kg the speaker cables were 5kg alone lol

Got more done today. Dash is out. passanger air bag is out just need to remove the cover off it to put it back on. Nothing weighed atm as it started to rain and I had bits all over the place lol. In this pic it's actually running so assuming that I can remove ove all other wires near enough

Lol I can't afford to be replacing bits I leave behind after mistakes lol and the Mrs wouldn't like it too much. Strictly track for me

lol glad it didnt go off as to remove it i had my head on it
i see what you ment by the front underlay being heavy its huge, how much more did you remove to get it out or did you hack at it, also did you remove the matrix?

i removed all of the underlay used a knife to get it out and i also removed the matrix.the matrix is quite heavy.i forget exactly how many kgs but i have it lying in the garage ill weigh it 2m..

I got some seats coming next week I think paid 30 for them again A bargain
Question is how do you fit the point for the middle of the car is it a case of weld in new mounts

You have two choices..... weld in new cross rails to blot your seat to or buy the base plate from OMP which is suppose to fit your existing mounts but needs a small tweak

Nice and easy then. I'll make so e subframe up and get some 206 runners for them. What thickness of sheet metal would you use 4mm?

mine are made from 3mm sheet I think .... plenty if you include bends in them....

Ill do that then and use the rear seat mounts for the shoulder belt
