I have just fitted these 14" 106 GTI alloy wheels onto my girlfriends 2.0 206cc and they seem to be catching very slightly.. They don't have wheel weights on the inside (seen them catch before!)
Just wondering if I could be missing something? Has anyone else fitted 14" alloys to a 2.0 206 successfully?
Thanks

Basically, your problem is that the 2.0 engined 206s all had 266mm brake discs setups. Common mod for 106 GTis and Rallye which have the 14" steel wheel or 14" Raptors. But the problem is you have to use really slim wheel weights in order to run the caliper and disc setup.
14" wheels are the smallest you can go with that setup... may need to file down some of the calipers off the top to stop them catching (again common thing).
Are you by any chance running coilovers..?

No it's completely standard.. Will have another check to see if I've missed a weight, but I can't see any any part of the caliper that is touching the wheel.. They are tight though, looks good

Doubt it, wheel offset is too low to start with.
Is it the front or back that is rubbing?
