I own a 2001 green 206 Y324GHK am having problems with my cooling and air conditioning system

problem is

firstly the temp gauge when sitting in traffic slow moving or idle mainly drive thru very slowly XD it will sit around the middle and then immediately spike to the max where the cooling front fan will spin and coolant begins to flow throughout system.

then secondly the air conditioning.

previously when a/c is pushed and on the frontal fan will spin and cold air begins to come out of the vents. now you get abit of cooler air where I believe the compressor kicks on but still the condenser will not disperse the heart because the fan does not work with a/c function.

I have taken to not one but two different garages Halfords autocentre and well mr clutch where it had top range service mot. now Halfords went in for this problem im having to date they drained flushed and replaced coolant replaced the thermostat and replaced the coolant sensor.

after this was done I have noticed the temp gauge gets warmer quicker and trys to hold just under the middle where previously it was holding slightly lower than this.

I really am at my wits end here where else can I turn I really really need some help on this

onsurely if Halfords drained flushed and refilled the coolant they would have spotted that it needed bleeding ?

Simillar to this: www.206info.co.uk/Foru...=3250.html

Mind you don't burn yourself and it might need additional coolant of the right type (OAT).
