Hi Guys
Was wondering if you could help me I've had my 206 gti 180 for about 4 months now. However recently it has started to make a noise when the revs get to around 2900 rpm and then this stops at 3100 rpm.
Pug1off told me it might be a VVT Solenoid is this possible?
Thanks in advance
Ash

What kind of noise? If it's this closely related to engine rpm, could be that something is vibrating just right at those rpms and making this noise.

What sort of noise? I had an annoying noise at around those rpms which turned out to be the heatshield over the steering rack, sounded awful!

Its only at those revs when I'm driving it sounds like what ever it is its shaking, I don't see how this can be the VVT can anyone else ?
