Has anyone got a pictoral guide on how to remove the bumpers? I did a search but couldnt find anyones project thread who had photographed it
I have come to the conclusion that I will take the bumpers off and paint/ wrap them instead of buying new bumpers (worse comes to worse I can buy new bumpers if i make a complete hash of it)
Any help is greatly appreciated!

and from what I remember for the rear, 3 maybe 4 torx screws on the top of it just inside where the tailgate shuts. a 10mm nut just behind the foglamp you get to from underneath and IIRC a 10mm just behind the wheel arch liner on each side. Takes less than 5 minutes to take off.

Drive it sideways down the hard shoulder and the crash barrier does it for you ... makes a bit of a mess though!
From memory (and short-term as I rebuilt the front of our hdi last month!) ...
For the front one, you need to remove the upper grill and both headlights to get to the bolts on top. A small bolt at the bottom edge of the wings so the inner wing shields have to come out, two bolts to the lower rad cross member (assuming the mounting strips aren't snapped off). There are two locating pins also where it meets the wings and these slot into two holes. So you have to pull down to pop them out.
Similar at the rear but all the bolts are accessible without removing lamp units.

I dont appear to be able to access that how to you made - might be my computer being a bit useless though.
Ha! I have tried a similar one to the first method you mentioned in a renault clio - Came off nice and easily!
Had a bit of a nightmare getting the third brake light off today - the hot to on here was very good - but someone had glued mine on!

Headlights don't need to come out. Use a short torx bit and use clamp on grips to turn them. The nasty bit will be the bolts either side behind the wheel arch liner, which will more than likely be rusted and turn in the bumper.

I looked at the how-to link as well ... that's why I then jotted my memory down in a posting ...
