I know a lot of people on here don't like banded steels but ive picked some up for a good price. the rears were orginally space savers so have a crazy amount of offset. (also 8.5J with stretch).
As you can see from the pictures its going to be a lot of work making these bad boys sit nicely. It'll cost about 150 from arch enemy and then if the paint cracks round the arches whatever price to get them resprayed. PLus the fact that when i come to sell it the arches will stick out masses compared to the spare wheels. and i'll probably get pulled quite a lot
BUt on the plus side.. it would look mental! haha

Couldn't drive it on the road like that. You can't have visible tread beyond the arch when looking from directly above.

There was a guy on here that had a silver pug with pink banded steels and these bolted on arches. I personally thought it looked wicked but a lot of people didnt. Its your car do as you wish!

That's why he said he is flaring the arches
Not really my cup of tea, but could look alright if done properly.

Judging by how far them arches have to go I would say almost definitely the paint will crack

As above. The arches will be made to accomodate these im just saying quite a lot of work will be involved and most probably need spraying too. But ive got some snaps from the back of the car with these on and it looks savage! Also not many people have gone down this route on here, not with this much poke anyway so it will be more unique than the common gti 180 look.
Just after peoples thoughts really. i can add more pictures if anyones interested to see..

Haven't got a clue who Arch Enemy are, that's why I had no idea you were having them flared.
If you look at Zacks car he had the arches. Made his car look like a cross between a 206 and an over sized old style mini.
If you got the arches professionally made and fitted so that they looked like original bodywork, you would probably get away with it. Anything just stuck on will make the car look as horrendous as Zacks, whether painted or not.

I think they'll look decent once the arches are sorted! Obviously don't be driving on them until the arch work is done though!
I actually do like the banded steel and stretched tires look when it's done properly.

I like it but it's gonna be a lot of work, get the arches made of steel and welded and smoothed in. Get a good sprayer to blend them with the cars paint work and I can't see it being bad at all. I will say it's different and that's why I like it
