hi huys was just thinking about freshening up my bay and i know i require high temp paint for my rocker cover and mai cover but want to give the plastics a fresh lick of paint battery box fuse box etc . would standard prime paint and laquar be sufficiant of wound the heat in the bay just kill it??

iv used halfords own primer, paint and lacquer for my rocker, battery and fuse covers. They would have all been fine but i put the rocker cover on while it was still a bit wet and the paint cracked. battery and fuse cover are both fine though

you used standard paint on your rocker take it it isnt a 8v then but everywhere else the paint is ok just let it cure properly before puting the bits back on

I've got normal paint primer on my 8v rocker cover been fine since I done it

no mines 16v. its the 2nd time i did rocker cover, was fine first time because i let it dry. was impatient this time as FCS was coming up so it was still a little wet when i put it on

I used Halfords paint on my Air box, Battery cover and fusebox cover and they've held strong, but it has come away a bit on the airbox as I've got a bonnet bra on and it's stuck on to that which is a pain
