Can the sensor be replaced without taking the driveshaft out?

If you mean the ABS sensor, then yes, wheel off and 2 nuts and it will come out. The worst one to do is the front drivers side, not getting the sensor out the hub, but actually getting at the plug.

I have joined this forum due to having just purchased a 206 1.6 gti hdi 110. Got it cheapish because it has the same problem as you have described. Is it a fairly easy fix if you know what you are doing?

I've left mine as it seemed to go away if I turn the ignition off then back on again lol
