I have seen this on Ebay.
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ACT...4610fb61d6
Can anyone confirm if this is the PP2000 kit or equivalent where you can activate various BSI settings etc.?
I realise you need a laptop as well.

I notice from one picture that the sticker that hides 2 of the screws on the interface is damaged, looks like this has been apart at some point Wink

To me it looks like the clone interface. You can buy them as cheap new.

OK, I have bought a PP2000 kit. I have installed it on a XP laptop & all seems to be ok including the interface drivers.
However, I connected it to my 2005 206 mux, put in all the right details. Build number, selected mux version etc, but it does not do the most important thing. Find or read the engine ecu!
It finds the vin number & all the other ecu's doing a global search but on the engine ecu it says "ENGINE ECU-PP2000-UNKNOWN REFERENCE" & "ECU BEING REFERENCED" then "PRESENCE OF FAULTS". When click on it or select ok, it just goes back to the menu page.
Basically it knows there are fault codes (as expected) but cannot read or retrieve them, ie unable to access the engine ecu for some reason which defeats the whole object of it.
Any thoughts please?

I thought it identified it automatically. It finds all the other ecu's, airbag, abs, dash, mfd, radio, com2000 etc. .
Where do you find the engine ecu details?

A bit of an update on this. Have updated the interface firmware from 4.2.2 to 4.3.0. Also installed the latest? interface drivers (2010).
Now running Diagbox 7.01. This is what I now get regarding the engine ecu.

Peugeot Planet 2000 13/08/2013 10:52:04
Please inform the technical assistance platform by email Diag specifying: control unit identification numbers( ECU identification label) .
In spite of this non-recognition of the ECU, do you wish to continue the diagnostics procedure?.

Peugeot Planet 2000 13/08/2013 10:55:20
Incorrect matching of the ECU (incorrect engine, system or vehicle).
Fit a correct ECU.

Does this mean my engine ecu has been changed to a non standard one in the past?

How did you update them all. Don't use diagbox, only pp2000

Using the discs supplied with the interface.
I did use PP2000 originally as stated above, but still did not identify the engine ecu. Just ecu being referenced.
The comments above showed up only when using Diagbox.
It knows the ecu is there & that there are faults present, but cannot go any further.

I only tried it because as stated PP2000 did not recognise my engine ecu. I thought updating the firmware/drivers/programme might help.
Still wondering if the highlighted messages mean my engine ecu is non standard.

Take the ECu out and check the codes underneath, highly unlikely its been swapped.
