Has anybody rewired the passenger seat, the cable under mine keeps bringing up the airbag fault, I wondered if I could cut both ends and maybe put 2 rj45's on and use a coupler in the middle, in case I need to remove it at any point.

Not sure how easy any other method would be ask I think both sides of the clip are broken.

So any help would be great, or if you have a diagram for which cable goes to which that would be great.

Iv have been told about people doing it.

Im sure that would be a safe and better way of making sure they are fully connected at all times..

The plug is cable tied at the moment, never seen so many cable ties on one thing before, previous owner must have had the same problem.

The problem with airbag wiring is it's normally based on resistance, if you use anything that increases the resistance it may set the airbags off. You could try hot glueing around the plug to keep it connected and it's pretty easy to remove if needed.
You could solder the wires together but you need to do it properly
