I have a 2006 pegeout 206 urban. I'm having problems with my alarm!
My alarm which Central locks normally makes a beeping noise as it locks and unlocks and if I lock it but press lock again it normally sets the alarm off. It's not doing any of this. It is central locking but not enabling the alarm,
Can someone give me some advice please?! As I'm trying to sell my car asap
Thanks!

Are you sure you have an alarm fitted?

The flashing of indicators is a locator function in car parks.
The remote fob is the same for cars with or without an alarm. The easy way to tell is if you have a button near the handbrake which disables the ultrasonics. If that button isn't there, then you probably don't have an alarm.

Have a read of this thread and things are explained about identifying if you have an alarm and the handbook explains about the flashing indicators

If it beeps when you lock and unlock. There's a fault with a sensor somewhere. On mine that noise is to tell me a door or boot/bonnet isn't locked. If I then open a door, the alarm will go off.
