Ugh, so I've spent the last three days working on my Pug. Been lowering the front end... Everythings finally apart and ready to be put together on coilovers, etc. Should hopefully finish the front end tomorrow and start on the rear. Everything was so hard to get out, some bits had to be broke/cut and replaced just to do the front end... Now really worried about how the back fares. Anyone got any tips for adjusting torsion bars on the rear to lower the car? wouldn't surprise me if they're stuck in place...

well for mine at 14 years only the front took half a day with waiting time for paint to dry and the rear took 3 full days 2 days was hitting it with a 14lb sledge hammer, make a start and if you strugle to remove the torx bolts and offset washers then you know thw rest will be a pain, they should only take 10mins to get out

Ive yet to come across one that hasnt come out. If your not confident dont do it, pay someone.
I charge 65 to adjust the rear height

Should of had you to help with mine.
Got one bar out but the other would not release. Needed heat on it really but I still got my desired 40mm on the rear
my advise...Plenty of WD40 (or equivalent), wire-brush and screwdriver to dig at rust/mud/dirt/etc.

I WILL get it out. It's just if it comes out in one piece, haha! I may have to take up your offer Addaz, where about are you? will see what I can do first before paying you. Could just fall out like a breeze and I'd feel a mug throwing you 65£, haha! I've just fitted front coilovers, hitting my alloys! they're fully wound down though, like 140mm and the recommended size is from 20mm to 80... Preying that the shock absorber will raise up with the coilovers and then keep away from my wheels? if anyone has any ideas, let me know. My alloys are 17" vortex's off the GTi 180
