Okay so ots a 1.1 zest 2, petrol and in any gear as I slowly rev the engine upto 3/ 3 and half thousand revs the engine makes a werring noise... any ideas ??

Could be cambelt pulleys. Left hand side of engine looking from front of car.
Could be alternator bearing. Left hand side of engine looking from front of car.
Could be clutch bearing. Right hand side of engine looking from front of car.
Listen and see where the noise is coming from or get someone who knows engines to have a listen.
