In the last week or so, noticed the car had a slight hesitation on motorway when doing (60-70 MPH) ok round town etc.
Saturday changed the fuel filter even though it was changed 3000 miles ago, and added a bit of injector cleaner into the fuel filter to give the injectors and system a good blast out, later on in the day the car got worse and became more eratic, and some noises from the injectors.
Obviously the emmisions light came on, due to the injector cleaner which i am not bothered with as i hope it will now give me a hint to whats going on, not got into limp mode as yet, getting the codes scanned tomoz.
So in the mean time anyone any ideas.

Thanks Timon2210, think i have sorted it, did a bit of rooting in engine bay and found that the fuel pressure sensor wiring connection, either was earthing somewhere , or in the connector itself was a bad connection, i simply disconected and reconected. Just a hunch really it had to be something so simple.
Its a yellow connector and is just below the oil filter to the right, which goes to the fuel pressure rail sensor.
Purring like a cat again, will only know for sure when i hit it on the motorway for a few miles, anti pollution light gone off as well, will update in a few days.

Will do Timon2210, been to see a friend i know who works for Halfords, says he has seen this fault a few times on the 2ltr hdi, anyhow he did a scan and cleared the faults for free, he also gave me a good tip in that when you change the diesel filter, have a look for metal fileings inside, it can give an indication of the condition of the injector pump.

so why you didn't write the faults down before your friend clear them??,this way we would know what fault code this plug trigger.,so still running like a cat?

I will ask him when i see him, he cleared a few codes.
I disconected all 4 injector electric plugs one at a time while trying to establish if i had a bad injector whilst the engine was running, i now realise it throws up a code when you do this. ( He quized me on this while he was clearing the codes)
When he had finished clearing the codes he also told me the injectors are fine and running at the correct bar pressure.
Cars purring like a cat still.

P1138 is the code which caused my problem.
Another couple of bits taken from a couple of sites
peugeot 307 hdi 110 - bad misfire below 2000 revs - bodace5
fixed it! it was a broken wire that goes to the fuel pressure sensor. if you look to the right of the oil filter there's a yellow plug and the wires had broke that come out of the plug. i removed the plug/socket and just joined the 3 wires together. if you have a similar problem just unplug the red plug on the fuel pressure sensor. the car will go into limp mode and the engine light will come on but the misfire will be cured. just repair the wires and the engine light will go out without the need to plug it in.
P1138 For EDC15C2, as fitted to DW10 engines, this fault code may indicate a power supply interruption to the rail pressure sensor. There was a modified intermediate harness supplied, which had to be fitted with a new sensor and harness retaining clip. This was to correct a connection fault, however do not dismiss other causes of incorrect pressure readings.
