I've managed to fix this issue now, and some how my car sailed through its MOT despite being slightly mangled.

I've now got an issue with my radio asking for the code every single time I start the car, almost as if the permanent live isn't working?

Good, for future ref what was it exactly and how did you fix it?

Happens when you disconnect the battery! Should be able to get one from a Peugeot garage, or Macca might be able to sort you with one, if you ask nicely

Have you had an after market HU in the car? Sounds like it's the red/yellow wire in reverse, either that or the fuse has been moved and not put back in the right place.

Turned out to be an issue with the indicator loom being damaged and possibly shorting out on the chassis!
