I do appologize for not introducing myself but I have an issue. I am the proud owner of a 206 1.1lx and I love it. Cold air intake, tinted rear lights, most of the jazz.
Now the problem.
I have the short throw shifter in my car and even when I bought the car standard, I had the same problem.
Getting into first gear at a stand still is hard. It won't go in. I have to cycle through the gears to get it in, although when coming to a stop it still won't go in unless I'm going extremely slow, then it slides right in. I've got new gear linkages on the way and I hoping this will sort it out. It's not the clutch or gearbox as those are fine. Could it be the main rod from the gear box to the selector? And Is anyone else having this problem?

Thanks for the quick reply!
I don't think it's the syncro. All other gears are fine but first. I haven't tried my gearbox oil though! Thanks!
