Other than the one on eBay does anyone know where I can buy them.
I am in the middle of rebuilding a rear beam.
I have changed the beam on it twice and they have gone within 6months of each other so I thought I'd rebuild the old one and fit that.
Not that hard to do once you worked it all out.

How do you get the pins out of the beam?
2001 GTi 138, Bilstein Sprint dampers, H&R springs, 21mm Peugeot Sport torsion bars, 22mm rear ARB, Peugeot Sport Group A wishbones, 283mm discs, Goodridge stainless hoses, Maniflow 304 grade 4-2-1 2.5" manifold and system, 200 cell cat, Richard Longman head, 45mm Jenvey throttle bodies, 9.5mm TB spacers, 90mm air horns, Jenvey throttle linkage, Jenvey fuel rail, Aeromotive and Goodridge fuel fittings and braided hose, ITG sausage filter, Radtec custom radiator, Piper Ultimate Road cams, Piper vernier pulleys, Omex 600 ECU. Saxo electric PAS pump, Vibra Technics engine mounts. Samco coolant hoses, TTV steel flywheel, 4.76 final drive ratio, 307 CC 180 ratios. 2019 BMW 530i. 2017 Mercedes C300 convertible.

Not sure yet, hammer and chisel maybe.
Drill a hole straight through and slot bar in hole and turn shaft ??
Its worth a try as the beam is scrap as it is.

When I had my axle replaced I'm sure they just hammered them out.

Did you see them hammer it out, can you describe how they managed to do so. With out looking at it again I would think to hammer it out you would have to remove the other trailing arm and insert a very long chissel from that end through the centre in order to hammer it out.

If it was as easy as hammering the stub pins out to replace them it wouldnt be so expensive for axle rebuilds.

So, is there any positive information available please. I am going to attempt the removal tomororow.
I have a few ideas but I will just have to see how it goes.

Sorry bud can help with that but i did just get a reconditioned axle from axledirect.com with two years warrenty for 275 delievered to my door

Yep this is going to be my last resort. I have already got to the point of looking.
I have already bought and fitted two new trailing arm bearings and have all four beam bushes ready to fit.
The only reason its not on the car is the fact that the one piveg shaft is just to far gone. I am going to try removing it tomorrow.
Its should take me long to remove the trailing arm again. So I will know fairly early wether or not its doable.

I imagine it's a interference fit and some heat might be needed...maybe.

Yes I think your
I was thinking of using a reciperating saw and cutting a slot in the centre.
