I had a sidelight out on my 206 so I decided to buy some led sidelights from ebay (10 for £2 delivered) worth a shot I thought

I took out the old bulbs and fitted the new ones. I now have 1 number plate light working and none of the others. so I stood scratching my head.... Confused
Next step...try to find a fuse...must have blown one
Logged on to 206 info to find out which one it is. Nope no fuse for side lights. I will disconnect the battery and do a reset. Did this twice and still nothing.
Right ...have a think while im having a cuppa.
Put multimeter on and reading 14v...eh???? power but no light?
Then I read that it might be the thickness of the wire on the led not connecting to the socket, so I stripped some cable and wedged some into the led and refitted. VOILA!!! ALL LIT UP.

I now have nice white sidelights, number plate lights and interior light. Laughing

So I thought id put it on here incase anyone else has the same trouble and doesn't want to waste nearly two hours doing a 5 min job...

some thing else worth noting is led's only have a single polarity, make sure the bulbs are in the correct way. i had the same problem and i just turned the bulb round and it worked

tried that aswell. made no difference to mine as the wires were that thin on the LED's they weren't connecting.

I had a whole load of those el cheapo led sidelight bulbs once, after about a month they start flickering in my experience and then give up completely, just went back to bulbs after that can get white looking ones easy enough anyway.
