Hi Guys,

Looking at buying some Nimrods, however looking for low profile tyres. My dad's car has 255/35/r18 tyres on it, and I quite like the profile.

I tried finding 205/35/r16 tyres, however I don't think they sell them in the UK, only Europe - can anyone recommend maybe a smaller width that would give the 35 profile look?

Cheers!

185/40 or 195/40 will give a nice look

I had 165/40 for some nice stretch

I went from a 205/45 R16 tyre with the car sitting on 35mm Eibach Springs to a 1905/40 R16 tyre with the car still fully wound down at 100mm on coilovers just to get the stance/look right.

Do some reason I.e look at other people cars on Nimrods and see what they're running as it'll save you a lot of heartache, hassle and agro later down the line.

Most Pugs with the 16" nimrods use 205/45R16 as they are standard so just find a GTi or CC and you'll probably find what you are looking for.

I can also recommend blackcircles and mytyres ...

and avoid Kw*kfit unless you want them to break your car for you ... they ain't cheap either .. unless you want rubbish budget tyres. (They also only offer a discount after they jack the prices up! or not available on their internet site).

Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.
