Well seeing as i just brought my first mod for the 206 i decided it is about time i start my own project thread.

I have a Cypress Green - KQM 1.4 HDI LX (3dr) with just shy of 140,000 on the clock. Belt is changed and rear axel has been changed, just need to change an injector and shes running spot on. I have had the pug for a year or two and i am really please with her.

Well she started life like this...

My first mod is a set of phase two headlights as soon as they arrive i will fit them, so if anyone in gloucestershire has pp200 i would be grateful for a few minutes of you time to alter the settings.

I have a set of ten mm spacers on the way and then i can fit my new alloys as well. Here is a poor photoshop of what she will look like with new alloya and lowered which will be my next mod

My plans for pug:
Lowered
p2 lights front with hids
alloys and spacers
charge cooler/intercooler
gti180 interior
tinted rear windows
gauge pod with turbo pressure and oil temp/pressure
few stickers including club stickers
carbon wrap center console and grills
comm 2000 stalks
decat
straight through backbox (cherry bomb)
Custom intake
GTI spoiler

I may add to this list or remove things as necessary but that is my plan for the moment. If you have any suggestions please suggest them.

I couldn't get PP2000 to simply convert from single to twin bulb headlights (mine's an 02 1.4 HDi) so did it the old fashioned way with wire and relays!

Phase 2 rear lights look so much better as well ...

Forget the cherry bomb and straight through ... diesels don't work in the same way as petrol engines and the turbo acts as a silencer anyway ... and decatting a diesel is soon going to be an MOT failure as well as noise levels. Cat is also a particulate filter on the HDi so it may fail on the smoke test anyway.

Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.

I have a 2.0 hdi with stiright through exhaust. Gives it a little rumble but not much.

Still sounds like a taxi when stationary!

That made me chuckle. Gotta love the oil burners Laughing
The torque band you get almost makes up for it though.

Just break out the insides of the cat and leave the shell on, looks like its still on when they check it then.

With it being a pre=plex model you will have to wire up a relay for the headlights, pug planet probably wont work with it but i'm no sure on that

the plugs may be there, they were on mine. just take the headlights out and see, the plugs might be hidden.

I do love the torque on them!

remap was the best thing i did to mine, get it done to yours!

Yes the plugs are there hence why im getting a set of p2 lights. As I understand it I need pp2000 to alter a setting to make it dual optic rather than single. Once the charge cooler is done then I intend to remap her but that won't be for a while yet. Lots of planning etc to do first and my degree comes first.

Ahh so here's your car then...

Looks like a few good plans there.

Pretty much the same way I went with mine.

I ran the relay method when wiring the twin optic lights up then got my hands on PP2000 and changed the setting in there, much more OEM.

Also activated the trip computer for the multiline display.

To confirm, the stock exhaust noise from the 1.4hdi is all but silent. I've straight piped mine right the way through now and its made a hell of a difference to the growl you get. You wouldn't even think its a baby hdi.

Good plan with the intercooler, i'm playing with mine still...bit awkward to connect it up though :/

well after changing the injector tonight (what a b***h of a job that was) i am having ideas to custom build an intake/rocker cover that incorporates a charge cooler. that means im more free to run the pipes where i want to some degree. she runs like a dream now and its cured what i thought want a knackered engine mount. the engine was moving to much as she was only running on three cyclinders

Sounds like a pre-plex? You need to plug the lights in then get a dual optics stalk, which I have.

Although I no longer own a 206 Laughing

Anything after October 2001 was multiplexed. Yours having a 52 plate will fall into that category.

No idea why people mess about with the relays on a pre-plex anyway, there's a much easier option.
