Hi guys
Could someone measure the weight of a 206 rear beam. it doesn't matter which, it just needs to be as a whole. ready to fit a car.
I'm trying to get a quote to have one sent to me and need the weihgt.
Alternatively, does anyone have any courier services that they prefer to use? I'm gonna be using myHermes..

A complete rear axle weight is about 75kg, that's a rough guess as it's a 2 person job to manouver one.
My Hermes wouldn't tough that bud, not many couriers would, it would have to be on a pallet and they start at around £50

It's not as much as 75kg, probably closer to 60kg. Wish I had wrote it down when I sent one. It's a one person job too if you're not a fairy
Try using Interparcel. I send almost everything via them now.

I've just chucked an ad on uShip. I'm not in any kind of rush and yeah the weight was more or less spot on 60kg!
I don't have any car breakers even close to me. Plus I'm going for an GTI item, so discs on the rear.
