Morning,
Help please!!! About 2 weeks ago I was listening to some music and the speaker sound suddenly went very low for some reason. I now have to turn it up to about 30 to hear anything and if you go any louder the speakers seem to have a crackling sound. I thought I may have blown the standard speakers so had a new set put in yesterday but I have the same problem.
Any ideas?? The HU is not standard anymore it is a Phillips.
Cheers

Its not a safety thing on the HU is it to stop the speakers from blowing? I changed mine to a sony unit with standard speakers and anything above vol 25 the unit shuts off because the speakers arn't powerful enough to take it.
