How? The pins on the bulb are different spacing ... must have been forced in ... what a d***head!!

well glad that you got it fixed,no wonder they stayed on all the time,none of us had thought of this cause.

It doesn't surprise me. When I changed my rear lights, I discovered the orange flasher bulbs were just reverse bulbs with a sawed tooth to force it in place.

Yes my flasher uses the offset ones. I guess the folks were just cheap and hacked one of the lower pins out to make it fit in and hold with only one pin.
