Hi Guys

Just got a few questions regarding a 51 Plate 206 I bought

Firstly I only have one standard key no remote, Dealer has quoted £140. I don't have the Key Card so is there a cheaper way to get me a remote?

Secondly I have ordered a replacement Stereo Control stalk off eBay to replace my broken one, other than swapping it over do I need to do anything else?

Last thing is I have swapped my head unit for an aftermarket one and I know i need to have a hunt for a switched (non bsi) live as the stereo stays on when I take the key out. Does anyone know if Autoleads PC99-X44 will allow my Stereo stalk to control my head unit.

Thanks in advance and apologies if I have asked questions that may have been answered elsewhere

Steve

You might be able to get the key code from Lee on here ... but then the fund starts are there are different key PCBs and youhave to find the right one. Without a remote to start with this may cost you more than a dealer key.

Shouldn't need to be again there are a few different types so make sure you get the right one (plug colour and no of wires).

What make is the headunit? Our Sony came with the correct ISO conversion block so it was relatively simple to swap over the red and yellow feed wires to get the power. Didn't bother with the remote on ours ... or at least haven't as yet. Think the remote is iffy anyway as it used to try and change channels on its own on bumpy roads! Think that adaptor is for the standard Clarion units ... you'll need to get one to match the h/u.
(Try searching in the ICE section for more info!)

Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.

Its a multiplexed car and the replacement is from the same car year so hopefully should be ok Smile

The Headunit is a Pioneer... I know I will need the patch lead to go with it to connect to the HU.

You sure it's MUX? I thought that came in in 2002?

Is the remote short and fat or long and thin?
