So is 7 years good for the life of a n/s t/c arm? Just replaced it for 2nd time since Jan 2007 ... original lasted just shy of 5 years from new then. FAI unit just fitted. Can't find record of last one.
Split boot ... MOT didn't spot that but noticed slight wear.
Anyone think this is a job from hell?!?!?!?! 3 1/2 hours.

My car's on 107200.
The o/s failed early last year ... balljoint torn out of arm so that was original and had lasted ten years ... wouldn't complain except no sign of wear, no tears in boot and cost me new drive shaft too.
Car collapsed in petrol station forecourt!
