Could probably use a vented catch tank or similar to stop it spitting oil out and filling breather filter in oil.

use a catchtank,i got one fitted but doesnt have much use on my engine.
tank doesnt get dirty or anything, only a couple of drops every couple hundred miles.
what that in mind maybe a breathing filter might just do the trick on your engine?

like i said the 180 already has a standard catch tank under the manifold, just wondered if it was worth doing, what to route the hose what connects to the cold air feed some wear or get rid of it??

I used a catch tank and routes the breather to wayyyy over the right hand side out of the way for better airflow and avoid any oil mishaps! No changes off the standard system noticed.
