Nice good looking wheels them. How much did they set you back if you don't mind me asking
What sizes?
16 x ?? |
Thanks mate they're - 16 x 7j 4x108 offset is 206 offset. I'd rather not divulge the cost tbh they weren't cheap is what I will say!
Spent a lot more on the rims without tyres than my team d's with tyres (ok so they were second hand, but they were pretty close to mint with decentish tread)
& my old brand new 17" white team d's with t1r's were cheaper too!

I paid more, possibly not the cheapest but they had a 1-2 working day turn around time which suited my requirements

Thanks Matty Can't wait to fit them.
1 is going back though as it's got imperfections! but will arrive tomorrow!
Not paying all that money and accepting them with any damage, second time I've send brand new wheels back. (although this is just the one).
Speedline offered me 40quid for a dink! I don't think so.

Don't blame you mate, no point in paying all that money for them to arrive with imperfections, least they can do is like you've said, replace it free of charge

Wheels have been fitted, I will put pictures up on here when I get my SLR back
Got to clean the Td's up and try to flog them now... They're currently in my speedlines boxes haha in my front room!
I know what I'm doing with my Brembo's now so I will send them off for painting soon then order discs, pads & braided lines.

I wasn't going to put these on here until I get hold of my SLR but, it may not be for some time, and I haven't got much time at the moment.. So...
Who's going to have problems with hitting the deck when lowering 60mm? Me that's who lol that's why my car looks higher than it actually is in pics on my drive it's like a hill. I doubt I'll be able to use my drive ever again lol.
Anyways s**t pics from the iphone will get better soon.
Valve caps & sleeves very posh haha. (before I cleaned the car)
Ps I need a new numberplate double sided sticky thingy...
Pics do not do the car justice, so I'll grab some better shots at the soonest.
Enjoy

Thanks mate,
Yeh I agree never was a fan of black alloys but thought I'd give them a whirl since they came up in 16's and I needed new tyres for my vortex which needed a refurb so thought might as well. Glad they are off! Still nice wheels though, just too common.

Brembos are now at the painters...
Completely changed my mind last minute. It makes sense though. Really starting to fancy the show season. Next month I plan on getting the lowering done, and a visit to RSTuning after the decat goes on.
Also ditching the rest of the vibra mounts for the baker bm grp n as I doubt there will be a noticeable difference between the mounts, but the price is hugely different but we will see.
Also planned the bumper & bonnet respray with my painter. Car should be flawless. Just need to work out how I intend to tackle my exhaust. Really want a pea shooter, I have a plan just depends on if I can be asked to execute it! probably quite costly. If not I'll just keep the janspeed.
