Does the spare wheel holder hold a full size wheel or a space saver? The space saver I have seems a bit insecure and wobbly!

Yes full size wheel if you move the cage down to the lower fixing holes. As for the space saver, someone might have forgotten to refit the metal clip that secures it when they last stowed the wheel in the cage.

I have a full size wheel in mine was a bit of a b***h to get in at first though.
