Honestly mate.... You've got a 206. They are renowned for rattling!
It's one of the reasons I sold mine. It could be anything loose under the dash or anything

if its something loose i can cope with that like a heat shield or something along those lines..... but just dont want it to be something serious that i could fix now so doesnt cost me loads in the near future... so just wondering if anyone else has had that noise and what they did to fix????

Hmmm after listening again do you mean on the drop down from the rev the staggered engine noise almost as if the throttle butterfly doesn't smoothly close?

after 13 seconds in on the deceleration you can hear the noise im on about on the video like a humming vibrating type of noise ..........

Yeah sounds like the heat shield or something having a bit of loose ness to it

i hope its just a heat shield tbh ill have to get some jubalie clips and see if that solves it... just so bloody tight back there

Yh pain the a**e mate even on the 1.4 vvt model there wasn't a great amount of space

My 138 does this when i floor it i think its either my heat shield or flexi on the exhaust. I've yet to delve into the depths to find it lol.
You think this is bad/annoying you should have heard my mg zr ><
