I have a 1.4hdi style. 2002. It failed mot on few things but all resolved now. Apart from one. Power steering pipe split and leaking. I kinda knew because of oil patch on drive. The problem I have is...... I have taken the pipes (rack is ok) off a car identical to mine but it was possibly a year younger. The power steering pipes on my car seem to have an extra loop that drops down behind the horn (behind front of bumper) and back up. The pipes I have off scrap car don't have this extra loop. I think it might be a cooling feature for the pipes. Ive googled and searched and I cant find any with the extra loop. Ive told garage to fit the pipes I supplied and if there's any problems then its on my head. If any of you have a car same as mine please can you have a look and see where your pipes are. Thank you in advance katy

Most 206's have this extra loop (the ones I've seen anyway) and you are right it's to cool the fluid.
