Hello,
Just got a 206 1.4 verve but finding the MPG is shocking.
Cost me £53 from the petrol light to fill and I've used roughly a quarter and a half and it's only done 110 miles. I don't drive it hard that much.
Is this normal? I've just had the alternator changed and also new aux belt.

A quarter and a half. Is that 3 quarters or 1 third?
I get roughly 400 miles out of a tank from my TU3 and average around 36mpg, but that's mainly urban driving. If I do a few motorway runs I can get it up to over 40mpg.

All depends on how the car is used. If it's always stuck in traffic jams or it does lots if very short journeys it will reduce the MPG.

315 miles average out a tank for my TU3 noting the following:
Climate control is always on.
It's doing all short urban journeys.
I don't hang about.
Highest I've ever seen the average MPG go up to was 39.7 mpg on a very long distance motorway run.

I was getting 320 miles in my cc which I think is heavier of the 206's due to the mechanic to operate the roof (I maybe wrong)
But also remember fuel will add to the weight of the car so you will go further on last 1/4 of your tank than you will on the first 1/4 of you tank used.
I was getting about 80miles on the 1st 1/4 of the tank when full, but when the tank needed filling again I got 100 to 110 miles on thefts 1/4 before it needed filling.
