Ive got a 1.4L 206 and recently have been experiencing problems with a red oil light and the STOP signal.

I took it to the garage the day after it first come on and they changed the oil filter and flushed the system and refilled the oil.
This worked for about 5 days and then it came on again,, i took it back to the garage and they then changed the oil pressure switch. This worked for about 9 days

Now it keeps coming on everytime i go above 55 mph.....is it a faulty wire?

HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Have you fixed this or is the engine now trashed? On the second return a good mechanic would have fitted an oil pressure gauge in place of the sensor and checked the actual pressure with the engine hot.
